Peter Ellsworth

Former President and CEO of Sharp HealthCare, Peter ended his tenure having expanded the system from two hospitals to a group of seven hospitals and two medical groups that cared for one third of San Diegans and was the largest private employer in the City. After leaving Sharp he refocused and reorganized the Legler Benbough foundation and became President and CEO of that Foundation. An ardent supporter of UC San Diego, Peter serves on the Institute for the Global Entrepreneurship advisory board. He generously donated to IGE’s Founders Fund.

Munjal Shah CSE ‘95

Munjal Shah is the co-founder and CEO of Health IQ. Health IQ uses science and big data to provide special rate insurance for health conscious people such as marathoners, triathletes, vegans, cyclists, and more. Munjal is a serial entrepreneur that has built many companies in the past. Munjal generously supported IGE Certificate Program students through the Shah Family Scholarship Fund.

Art Boni PhD ‘68

Arthur A. Boni, PhD is a technologist, successful serial entrepreneur, and academic who has contributed to the success of multiple organizations.  His private sector and academic work have focused on understanding and advancing the business of commercialization, and to the leadership of teams and organizations in entrepreneurial organizations spanning the startup through growth stages.  Art supports students through the Art and Janice Boni Scholarship Fund and the Penner-Boni Innovation Award in honor of his mentor and friend, Sol Penner.
