The Innovation Expo: Health and Wellness event is a celebration of all entrepreneurship-related accomplishments at UC San Diego. UC San Diego innovation is dedicated to technologies that enrich human life and society, improving health and alleviating ailments. In an effort to maximize mental and physical health, we are looking for sustainable interventions to maintain and enhance personal wellness. This event will allow individuals to showcase these innovations, learn more about entrepreneurial resources available to them, and network with other students and faculty for future collaboration. The Innovation Expo will be hosted virtually on Thursday, May 7th.
ATEIOS, started by UC San Diego alumni Dr. Rajan Kumar (NanoE '19) and Carlos Munoz (MS BioE '19), raised $1.25 in seed funding to reshape battery manufacturing. After completing the IGE Accelerator program, ATEIOS went on to accelerate with Heritage Group Powered by TechStars. In addition to the seed funding, ATEIOS also received $256,000 from the NSF SBIR Phase I grant.
