IGE Technology Management Program Alumna, Sonika Obheroi was recently recognized as a rising star in LaserFocusWorld Magazine.
Sonika Obheroi is a key player in the world of AR/VR display systems as a product manager for the NED-LMD near-eye display family of products at Gamma Scientific. This technology was one of the first near-eye display testers on the market in its first conception of capabilities. The patented optical design near-eye display tester can emulate the human eye and perceive what the human eye will see, allowing the NED system to quantify the user experience. Read More
ATEIOS, started by UC San Diego alumni Dr. Rajan Kumar (NanoE '19) and Carlos Munoz (MS BioE '19), raised $1.25 in seed funding to reshape battery manufacturing. After completing the IGE Accelerator program, ATEIOS went on to accelerate with Heritage Group Powered by TechStars. In addition to the seed funding, ATEIOS also received $256,000 from the NSF SBIR Phase I grant.
