IGE Receives $3M Gift For Entrepreneurship Efforts at the Jacobs School of Engineering

The gift celebrates the Jacobs School’s ongoing efforts to empower researchers to translate their innovations to the marketplace. In recognition of the donation to the Jacobs School, a physical space on the first floor of UC San Diego’s Franklin Antonio Hall that is currently programmed to support entrepreneurs has been named the Aiiso AL21 Space.Read the full article

This competition focuses on fostering creativity and bringing to the spotlight commercially promising, environmentally focused technologies generated by the finest minds at UC San Diego. Supported through the generosity of The William and Kathryn Scripps Family Foundation Inc., the program is presented through a partnership of the Rady School of Management, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and the Jacobs School of Engineering, and is open to the entire campus.
