What is the Institute for the Global Entrepreneur?
The Institute for Global Entrepreneur (IGE) is a collaboration between the Jacobs School of Engineering and Rady School of Management. Our goal is to teach engineers to be leaders and entrepreneurs and to help promote commercialization within the Jacobs School of Engineering.

BRINGING INNOVATION TO MARKET
The UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering and the Rady School of Management have joined forces to create The Institute for the Global Entrepreneur to inspire and prepare engineers to be entrepreneurial leaders and translate technology innovations to market to fuel the economy and benefit society. With a unique blend of education, workshops, and one-on-one mentoring, our programs are geared to help our engineers address real-world issues with technology solutions.

IGE MedTech Stage One Apps Due
IGE invites early-stage startups to learn more about bringing their medical technology to the market. Apply to our 12-week intensive boot camp, where teams will learn about the process of bringing their medical technology to market and hear from industry experts who will guide the process. The final week's session will be team presentations in front of a panel of judges.
*The first five sessions will be following the NSF I-Corps Curriculum. Applicants will automatically be considered for the I-Corps program after filling out this application*
